Vend releases mobile, cloud retail solution for iOS and iPad Featured

Global cloud-based retail software company Vend has optimised its POS software for iOS and iPad which it says will help retailers anywhere, create and launch an online store, manage inventory, reward customer loyalty, and analyse business performance.

Vend, which currently powers more than 15,000 retailers worldwide, says it is driving mobile-led business transformation, across multiple store locations, on iOS and iPad.

Vend founder and CEO Vaughan Rowsell said the platform gives small-to-medium retailers a simple, mobile-friendly, and affordable cloud-based solution that includes all the features and benefits “previously only available in expensive enterprise POS offerings”.

Rowsell said to “revolutionise” retail for SMBs across the globe, Vend was expanding the retail platform on iOS and iPad to take advantage of the operating system’s innovative business features, including the market-leading security and productivity features of iOS 8, and to leverage the strong ecosystem of business applications on iOS that SMB retailers already use to run their stores.

Vend’s retail platform already integrates with other best-of-breed apps to provide a flexible and scalable business platform for business owners, and Rowsell sad apps such as Xero (accounting) and Deputy (employee scheduling) easily integrate with Vend to deliver comprehensive cloud-based business solutions that enhance mobility via iOS devices.

“Built on iOS, Vend enables retailers to get out from behind the counter, be truly mobile, and deliver amazing customer experiences,” Rowsell said.
