Secure Logic Group and Computer Room Solutions have merged to form a new Australian security industry heavyweight with an estimated market value of more than $140M.

Secure Logic  has announced a merger that brings Computer Room Solutions (CRS) under the Secure Logic Group umbrella. Security drives the DNA of both companies, and together they offer a unique end-to-end physical and technical security solution that meets both corporate and governmental protection needs.

Secure Logic specialises in online ICT security and certification, and CRS is an industry leader in the design, development and commissioning of physical ICT infrastructure. The coming together of both adds incremental value to the Secure Logic Group, allowing current and future clients to gain a level of security guarantee that is unique to the industry in Australia.

Santosh Devaraj, Managing Partner and Founder, Secure Logic Group, said: "This is a game-changing move and places the Secure Logic Group in an exclusive position within the Australian marketplace, allowing us to offer a complete suite of security solutions, both physical and technical.

"The changing face of the security industry means that companies not only need to think about their outbound presence and internal controls but also require assurance that their data is protected through its complete lifecycle. Innovation is crucial to our business and this alliance allows us to develop in ways that will keep our clients not just one, but two or three steps ahead."

Secure Logic is the gatekeeper to the NSW Digital Community and trusted advisors to government agencies and private enterprises. The news of the amalgamation comes after the company was identified as a 'Deloitte Technology Fast 500' company, placing 50th in the Asia Pacific region in 2015.

Brendan Dessent, Managing Director, CRS, believes the deal will enable them to meet and exceed client expectations, saying, "We are excited to align with Secure Logic and provide services that meet our clients' needs from ground to cloud. We have delivered on some successful joint projects in the past and what is clear is that both companies share common values and a vision of supplying the best when it comes to security solutions."

CRS services blue chip clients throughout the APAC region using Security Construction and Equipment Committee (SCEC) endorsed products. Clients include some of the biggest data centre hosting providers in the region - such as Equinix, Amazon Web Services and Digital Realty - and financial institutions like Commonwealth Bank and ANZ, as well as various government institutions.

Devaraj added: "With CSR on board, the Secure Logic Group is now in an exciting position in the market, being able to take on larger clients and continue to provide the necessary end-to-end security needs they require. With significant expansion in Australia, this market will be a key player for us in the months to come."

Data encryption methods previously used only by military and intelligence services have become common practice in all data transfer networks across all platforms, in all industries where information is sensitive and vital (financial and government institutions, critical infrastructure, data centres, and service providers).
