Pixel cases waterproof, drop proof, dirt and snow proof: LifeProof

By

LifeProof has unveiled what it says is waterproof, drop proof, dirt proof and snow proof protection for the next generation of Google’s Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones.

LifeProof, a consumer electronics accessory company, has made its FRĒ cases for Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL available now, claiming they are the only waterproof case in the Made for Google programme for the new Pixel devices.

“Google’s Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are superb new phones,” said Bonnie Soon, LifeProof general manager for APAC. “With Pixel’s outstanding camera and unlimited photo and video storage, you’ll want it by your side as we head into summer. LifeProof FRĒ allows you to use your phone, no matter where you are.”

“FRĒ wraps Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL in award-winning four-proof protection from water, drops, dirt and snow. It ups the devices’ water protection to two metres for up to an hour. The slim-but-strong shell keeps the device safe from drops up to 2 metres while a built-in screen protector keeps the display free from scratches. Dirt and snow are sealed out when all port covers are closed,” says Soon.

LifeProof is offering the waterproof Pixel cases in two colours for each device – Night Light and Fire Run in select Australian and New Zealand stores with price tags for Google Pixel 2 of A$99.95/NZ$124.95, and A$129.95/NZ$139.95 for Google Pixel 2 XL.
