Online accounting software company MYOB kicks off its Australasian roadshow in Auckland tomorrow as it lays out its plans for 2014 in an increasingly aggresive and competitive regional market.

According to MYOB CEO Tim Reed, 2014 is a “critical year” for Australian and New Zealand small businesses and their advisors.

“Cloud accounting is now much more than just for early adopters. And new mobile applications are making this space even more exciting,” Reed says.

The MYOB roadshows will be staged in 16 locations in New Zealand including Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington, as well as 30 locations in Australia including Melbourne and Sydney and the other mainland capitals.

Reed says well over 5,000 accountants, bookkeepers and certified consultants have registered for the two-country roadshow will tour the New Zealand market starting tomorrow and move across the Tasman to Australia on 4 March.

“Join us at the MYOB 2014 Roadshow - our biggest event ever, and it’s free. You can find out how to make the most of cloud accounting, more information on new products launching and get updates on the latest enhancements for the products you use in your business today.”

MYOB has also brought in renowned futurist and business strategist Tim Longhurst, director of  global strategy and communication consultancy Key Message, as a keynote speaker.
