IT services group Interactive has launched a new Software Services marketplace — Alliance — which it says fills a gap in the market offering Australian-based SaaS providers a single platform into a local SMB community.

Interactive says Alliance partners will immediately become partners of Interactive, “reaping the rewards of becoming one of a select number of providers with direct entry to Interactive’s two thousand SMB clients”.

According to Interactive’s Software Program Manager Rachel Armstrong, the marketplace will be a one stop-shop for Interactive’s SMB client base, “helping them make cost effective and smart purchasing decisions, especially in horizontal markets such as CRM, HR, Sales, Communications, Operations and Finance, where our customers need transformative services to better support their growing businesses”.

“There are marketplaces popping up across the globe but Interactive Alliance is unique. Our aim is to partner with a select group of relevant, Australian-based, best of breed SaaS vendors whose products directly support our customer’s businesses.

“We see ourselves as brokers connecting our valued customers with truly brilliant SaaS products that solve real challenges.”

Armstrong says Alliance partners will receive dedicated sales facilitation from Interactive, as well as 24/7 Australian-based Tier 1 product support, network and security monitoring, hosting discounts and access to marketing and learning & development resources.  

"Alliance unites providers and consumers of cloud services in a single community. This makes it easy for small and midsize businesses (SMB’s) to find, buy, manage and monitor SaaS solutions that fit them, from a central location and delivers new opportunities for vendors to distribute, sell & market their cloud services.

Armstrong says Interactive is seeking expressions of interest from SaaS vendors that have a proven solution with satisfied customers to back it up, and the partnership opportunity best suits SaaS vendors with a product ready to move from start-up to scale-up.
