Deliveroo launches ‘restaurant perks’ program

Online food delivery and ordering business Deliveroo has launched a range of "restaurant perks" across Australia, which it says are designed to offer restaurants the opportunity to find savings, reduce time and create greater efficiencies within their business.

Deliveroo says the restaurant perks program will focus on helping to find improvements in six key sectors – utilities, recruitment, card payments, financial support, restaurant operations, and printing.

The restaurant perks program comes as Deliveroo announces a new data insights package, Restaurant Home, designed to give restaurants data on their performance, and which Deliveroo says can be used to accelerate their growth.

“At a time when restaurants have seen costs increase across their industry, Deliveroo is using its scale to negotiate favourable rates and discounts to benefit the wide range of restaurant it works with,” the company said on Wednesday.

“Deliveroo is passionate about food and wants to help great restaurants to grow. We have been working with restaurants to understand what would help their businesses and are proud to announce our new Restaurant Perks program, offering a package of support that will cut their day-to-day costs, meaning they can focus on what matters: producing amazing food,” said Deliveroo Australia country manager Levi Aron.

With restaurant perks, Deliveroo is excited to be bringing more than just food to the table by designing a program that offers business service perks to our restaurant partners. Deliveroo is proud to be the first and only online food company offering a restaurant perks program.”

Payment systems: To help restaurants save time and money, Deliveroo has partnered with Australia’s business-only bank Tyro to provide restaurants across Australia with three months free EFTPOS terminal rental plus $100 savings in their Tyro Bank Account.

Recruitment: Restaurants can save time and money with Deliveroo’s recruitment offers. A partnership with Sidekicker offers restaurants the fastest way to hire short-term hospitality staff during busy periods or when staff are on holiday, and a partnership with Scout helps restaurants access a market leading job-board and number one choice for industry leading hospitality groups.
