Aussie tech journalist and former iTWire contributor Renai LeMay has long been in pursuit of full details around the Coalition's NBN policies, and his latest effort needs your help.
He explains that ‘Blue Books’ are what ministers in a new government receive when they're sworn in, and they contain a plethora of information and details on various aspects of each relevant portfolio put together by public servants.
Given the obvious importance of the Communications portfolio and what it means for Australia's future LeMay filed a Freedom of Information (FOI) request for Turnbull's 545 page Communications briefing document, and was told it would cost just over $2000 to release. "If you want to know everything that Turnbull does, if you want to see the 545 page Ministerial briefing he was provided with when he came to power, then we encourage you to chip in through the Pozible campaign we launched today for the issue," LeMay said.
