Desktop 3D printing vendor Ultimaker has expanded its leadership team in a move it says supports its global growth strategy.

Ultimaker announced the appointment of four new senior executives including Siebe Beintema as CIO who the company says will help to further define its IT strategy to support the growth and development of the IT and IT-related teams.

As well as Beintema, Ultimaker announced the appointment of Sebastiaan Verhaar as Chief Commercial Officer, Mariska van IJzerloo as chief  people officer (CPO) and Paul Heijmans in the role of vide president software R&D.

Beintema brings years of expertise to Ultimaker, with past positions in IT management and as a CIO for companies such as Thomas Cook and and Lefebvre Sarrut Group/Sdu. He will be responsible for IT management, web development, ERP, as well as software and services delivery platform.

Ultimaker says its strengthened leadership team, with four new talents, will drive its worldwide growth even further.
