VIDEOS: Australian company Dog and Bone’s Locksmart keyless lock appears in Apple iPhone 6s ad

Australian company Dog & Bone made a name for itself with cool smartphone cases, but now its world-first Bluetooth lock has truly hit it BIG!

Getting your product showcased in an Apple television commercial for one of its flagship iPhone features is not only a surefire sign that you’ve made it with ultra cool technology, but a surefire way to accelerate sales into the stratosphere.

Well, that’s my estimation of what is about to happen to Dog & Bone following its unique and world-first Locksmart Bluetooth keyless lock being unlocked via a Touch ID fingerprint scan and feature in Apple’s ‘iPhone 6s - Fingerprint’ commercial.

Let’s take a look at that commercial now, which showcases just some of the things Touch ID can do today - it's at the 15 second mark that you see Touch ID unlocking the Locksmart lock!

When the keyless lock unlocks, you can clearly see the words ‘Dog & Bone’ on the lock, which is also the image embedded at the top of this article.

Not only is the technology a great coup for Dog & Bone, which clearly worked very hard to create this product (and of which it has two models, a larger Locksmart model with 8mm stainless steel shackle and the smaller Locksmart Mini model with hardened steel 7mm shackle), but it is of course a huge thing to be featured by Apple in this way.

More below, please read on!

Here is the company’s video for the original Locksmart model:

Here is the company’s just-published video for the Locksmart Mini:

So, a hearty congratulations to Dog & Bone for not only its tremendous success with its range of stunning cases, and its world-first lock technology, but also its now global recognition by Apple itself!

Here’s a video I recently filmed with one of Dog & Bone’s co-founders, Maria Ranchod - and while the video is below, here’s the article I originally published it in entitled ‘Dog & Bone seeks throne in Game of Phones.’
