Seagate Game Drive for Xbox

By

Seagate's new Game Drive for Xbox stores 50 or more Xbox One games.

The need to delete one downloaded Xbox game to make room for another is significantly reduced by the new 2TB Seagate Game Drive for Xbox.

"With all of the new and amazing titles expected for this holiday season and a ton more games coming in the future, Xbox gamers will need even more storage and portability," said Microsoft’s 'designed for Xbox' partner program business development manager Matt Kesselring.

The drive has a USB 3.0 interface and can be used with Xbox One or Xbox 360. The compact, bus-powered drive makes it easy to take your game collection to a friend's house.

"This exciting new collaboration with Microsoft Xbox is an important milestone for Seagate that will help us to reach a new audience, which has an insatiable appetite for storage," said Seagate senior director of product marketing Jeff Fochtman.

"There was a clearly defined need in this market for additional plug-and-play storage and Seagate is happy to be able to provide the solution."

The $179 Seagate Game Drive for Xbox will be available from JB Hi Fi, Harvey Norman, Dick Smith and other retailers.
