A new and already fully funded portable battery, due for delivery in May 2018, has arrived at Indiegogo.
Dubbed Orico, it comes in two capacities, 10,000 and 20,000mAH, and promises 18w Fast Speed charging power to deliver "up to 50% charge to compatible devices in 30 minutes."
Orico's makers say the device support seven protocols, along with "intelligent device detection," working with Apple, Samsung, Kindle and other devices, and say "the seven protocols can deliver fast charging for QC 2.0, 3.0 / BC 1.2 / Apple devices/ Samsung AFC/ MTK PE 2.0 1.1."
The unit recharges itself "in only 2 hours and its intelligent detection technology sends out optimum power at all times."
Both models has three outputs, being 2x USB-A and 1x USC-C, with dual inputs being Micro USB and USB-C.
USB-C means being able to charge USB-C powered laptops, too, such as MacBooks and other compatible laptops.
The company says it is pricing its chargers "with value in mind," and is offering the 20,000mAH unit for US $45 plus shipping, with a duo pack of 10,000 and 20,000mAh chargers for US$59 plus shipping.
There is also a family pack of 5 units for US $145 plus shipping.
