Latest SanDisk memory cards gain 'Works with GoPro' label

By

The new SanDisk 64GB Extreme microSDXC and 32GB Extreme microSDHC UHS-I cards for Action Cameras are among the first to carry the Works with GoPro verification.

The Works with GoPro verification programme assures GoPro owners that products are compatible with their cameras. The 32GB and 64GB SanDisk Extreme microSD cards have completed the programme.

"We are proud to be one of the first companies to unveil a new offering that carries the Works with GoPro logo, as well as one of the first to have access to Works with GoPro verification tools," said Western Digital's SanDisk ANZ country manager George Saad.

"We strive to deliver a great user experience that includes performance, reliability and the peace of mind that data is safely stored. The early testing and verification through this program further confirms our customers get the best possible user experience with their SanDisk cards and GoPro cameras."

The SanDisk Extreme microSD cards can record 4K UHD video with UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) and Video Speed Class 30 (V30) performance. Then the quick read speed of up to 90Mbps saves time when transferring the results to computers and other devices..

The cards are available from Wireless 1 and other retailers with recommended prices of $59 (32GB) and $99 (64GB).
