AMD's Ryzen 5000 series mobile processors will soon be available in laptops from Asus, HP, Lenovo and others.

The Ryzen 5000 series mobile processors use AMD's Zen 3 core architecture, and are said to "provide unprecedented levels of performance and incredible battery life for gamers, creators, and professionals."

Products using these new mobile processors will ship this quarter.

There are 10 Zen 3 Ryzen 5000 series mobile processors, ranging from the 5600U with six cores and clock speeds up to 4.0GHz to the 5980HX with eight cores that run at up to 4.8GHz.
