Upstart company disrupts historic WAN operations

Versa Networks, a networking and security startup in the Silicon Valley has launched a “bunch of products” that it claims “softwarises” enterprise WANs.

The claim that Ericsson and Cisco Systems will both achieve $US1 billion in new revenues by 2018 based on their strategic partnership announced this week, “is achievable” according to industry analysts.

Motorola has cut the ribbon on its revamped Australian Public Safety Innovation Centre, with a demonstration of a simulated real life crime event involving masked gunmen.
