Amaysim adds 50GB and 70GB data-only plans to mobile data suite

Do you feel the need, the need for more speedy 4G data? Then Amaysim seeks to amaze you with its two new data-only plans, delivering 70GB or 50GB per 28 days.

If you desire a deluge of data via the mobile delivery of Amaysim’s appropriate SIM supplied plans, then listen up to its latest ante-upping deal.

Much like its value-driven subsidiary Vaya, Amaysim goes one better as the original value driven player with a “mission to add greater value and choice to the lives of Aussie consumers” – except this time with even bigger data appetites.

The additions to Amaysim’s data-only offering come after Telsyte’s recent “Australian Digital Consumer Study 2017” research, which revealed “a trend in big data appetites, as mobile data usage grew by more than 60% last year, with more than half (53%) of Aussies aged 16 and over using both tablets and smartphones".

We’re told that Telsyte also found “nine out of ten tablet users connect their device to the Internet when outside of home".

So, now comes Amaysim with its latest deal, available from today (11 May), which gives new and existing customers “the option of a massive 70GB plan for $80 or 50GB plan for $65 per 28-day renewal, joining the existing 2GB and 6GB plans.”

Amaysim says that, in line with its “no-contract approach, customers will find it simple to move freely between data-only options with no penalty, enabling them to find the plan that best suits their needs and budget".

The company’s mobile commercial director, Maik Retzlaff, noted the new plans were part of Amaysim’s ongoing commitment to reviewing and responding to current and changing consumer needs.

He said: “We know Aussies are data-hungry and there’s limited bang for your buck in high data plans on the market right now.

“The new data-only offerings are perfect for iPads, tablets or dongles, and will provide peace of mind for high data users, whether they’re streaming the latest Netflix release, working on the go, or indulging in some online shopping.”

Amaysim’s large data plans have arrived not longer after its newly-released NBN offerings hit the market, with these new data-only options billed by Amaysim as “the perfect alternative for those who don’t yet have access to the nbn, but want fast speeds and generous data downloads without lock-in contracts".
