Telstra's highest BYO plan, the L plan for $89 per month over 12 months, looks very compelling, especially for frequent international travellers who hate Telstra's $10 per day roaming charge.
Telstra has a new 15GB plan for $49 with "peace of mind" data, offered on the Telstra 24x7 app, not listed on the website, and it's great – but it has an annoying catch.
Renaming the unlimited data portion of select new plans as "peace of mind data" that eliminates excess usage charges, there are of course still some limits but the new plans are the best Telstra has ever offered.
My apologies, I did not mean to give that impression.
