Moments after lift-off on Thursday evening (Australian time), the Soyuz rocket carrying two crew members to the ISS was aborted.  Both astronauts are reported to be safe.

Soyuz TMA-18 blasts off 4.2.2010

The Russian Soyuz TMA-18 spacecraft was launched at 0404 GMT on April 2, 2010, from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. One U.S. astronaut and two Russian cosmonauts were onboard for their two-day journey to the International Space Station (ISS).

The Soyuz TMA-17 spacecraft lifted off at 4:52 p.m. Eastern Standard Time from the Baikonur Cosmodrome with American, Russian, and Japanese astronauts onboard. They are headed to the International Space Station as new members of the ISS Expedition 22 crew.
