British, Portuguese, and Swedish physicists have come up with a strong magnetic shield that may be able to protect astronauts from dangerous space radiation as they make extended missions to the Moon, Mars, and beyond. Better get Scotty to engineer the project!

3D TV has been promised as the “next big thing” for years, but while consumers can now buy one, play selected 3D games through a PC and watch 2D DVD converted to “3D” through a PC, as well as 3D movies, all with special glasses, 3D television programming isn’t here yet.

Telstra claims Australian first with 3D TV

Although 3D TV has been demonstrated over several years at technology trade shows, for gaming, advertising, television, movies and more, Telstra claims it’s first to commercially install the technology at its “Executive Briefing Centre” in Melbourne, Australia.
