Australian money transfer company OFX has successfully deployed a cloud content management solution from Box in its seven global offices as part of its strategy to become a digital workplace.
Payments provider BPay claims more $20 billion has been transferred through its Osko payment platform — which allows the transfer and receipt of money instantly — since its launch earlier this year, with Osko now available via online banking with banks and financial institutions.
Global registered mobile domestic money transfer users are expected to reach 2.5 billion this year, up from an estimated 1.7 billion in 2016.
