Scientists at CSIRO's Data61 unit are working on a software tool that could help in faster detection of angiogenesis — the development of new blood vessels — which is known to precede the growth of cancers.
The CSIRO Data61’s job matching service Ribit, the NSW government and the Medical Technology Association of Australia (MTAA) are staging an event which sees more than 120 of Australia’s brightest students, leading medical technology start-ups and companies get together for some “unique speed-networking” to uncover and inject the next wave of talent into the ‘MedTech’ sector.
The CSIRO’s digital innovation group, Data61 has inked a global agreement with Sydney online user experience company, Sitback, to implement its Web optimisation tool which exposes specific areas, known as "cold spots", on a webpage where websites are losing customers.
