Germany-based open source company SUSE has released version 6 of its Enterprise Storage product which, it claims, has "new features focused on containerised and cloud workload support, improved integration with public cloud, and enhanced data protection capabilities".

Germany-based open source software company SUSE Linux will contribute its openATTIC storage management framework to the Ceph distributed storage system so that it can become the default dashboard for monitoring and managing the Ceph software.
