IBM hot to trot in emerging markets

Keen to further boost its position in high growth emerging markets such as China and India, IBM has announced the establishment of its latest centres of excellence. IBM's business in the so-called BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India, China) market grew 31 percent in the second quarter, with India as the most significant contributor.

Phishing up 180 percent in six months

According to APACS, the UK payments association, the number of people banking online has risen by 505 percent in the last seven years. However, in just the last six months alone the number of reported phishing incidents has risen by 180 percent in the UK.
