Sam Varghese has been writing for iTWire since 2006, a year after the sitecame into existence. DerbyCon, a popular infosec conference held in Louisville, Kentucky, since 2011 has decided to shut down after this year's event, blaming "a small, yet vocal group of people creating negativity, polarisation, and disruption, with the primary intent of self-promotion to advance a career, for personal gain, or for more social media followers" for the decision.
