Apple breached consumer law

Tech giant Apple has been lying to consumers about its obligation to replace or repair faulty computers, iPhones, iPads and iPods, and has now agreed to offer a  24-month warranty on all its products in Australia for the first time, rather than the more limited 12-month warranty it was applying globally.

iPhone users prone to dropping or smashing their devices can breathe a sigh of relief, with 24 month warranties now on offer  - but only if they're with Optus.
