It’s funny – Optus owns Virgin, but “lets” Virgin totally outclass it with a pre-paid broadband plan that quite frankly isn’t stupid. What is it, good cop and bad cop? Whatever it is... Virgin’s pre-paid broadband is the best one yet.

Note to HP: The Mini-Note PC rocks!

Watch out ASUS – HP’s Mini-Note PC might be a bit more expensive, but it’s squarely aimed at knocking the Eee PC off its perch as the most desirable sub-notebook computer out there. It comes with Linux or Windows, too – will the Mini-Note be the one for you?

Could it be that after years of Windows pricing remaining steady, then going dramatically up with Vista (as hardware prices declined) – that Microsoft has finally learned cheaper prices can actually increase profits?
