The Australian Communications and Media Authority has again issued a warning about the problems and pitfalls faced by mobile users being charged for buying digital content when they may actually be unaware of their purchases.
Almost 9 out of 10 Australian adults are now online, fuelling a growing appetite for digital content and driving significant changes across the communications sector, according to a new report from the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA).
Australians have devoured online content to the tune of 13 billion hours a year, while users of the National Broadband Network (nbn) have been consuming around 35% more data than the average Australian household.
