Bricks and mortar bank branches may one day become a rarity in Australia, as consumers - most notably the younger generation – appear to be turning increasingly to doing all their banking online.
The ANZ Bank is claiming rapid growth in customer demand for mobile banking, with its mobile-to-mobile payment app, goMoney, hitting $100 billion in transactions.
Australians clicked on almost 27 million malicious links in the first quarter of this year, ranking the country sixth in the world for users who accessed the links. In New Zealand, more than 2.3 million malicious URLs were clicked in the quarter.
