Optus has announced plans for supporting its customers to work remotely online due to the continuing spread of the coronavirus.
Australia’s second largest telco Optus has reported “slightly lower” quarterly operating revenues year on year, down from $2,419 million in 2018 to $2,393 million for 2019, with higher NBN migration revenue offsetting lower equipment and service revenues.
Telstra has taken a hit to its bottom line for the second year running, according to full-year 2018 results released today, revealing net profits fell by 8.9% to $3.5 billion despite a 3% increase in revenues to $29 billion.
