Telstra will begin working next month on the provision of mobile coverage in the Geelong rail tunnel, the company said in a statement today. A critical part of the work is expected to be completed by the end of June.
Workers from Telstra have scaled a 100-metre high transmission tower to install equipment that will provide mobile coverage to the remote Gulf town of Gregory.
Optus will invest $20 million to improve mobile coverage across the Gold Coast, including new mobile towers to improve coverage at Carrara Stadium, the Commonwealth Games Village, Currumbin and Main Beach.
This is an unbearably good headline :-)
Great Stuff Sam - I wish this could go out to a larger audience.
5G will save us, and the NBN will have to be redone anyway.
As always, a great article Sam.
I will never forgive him.
