First week's supply of iPads - iGone already!

Those quick enough to pre-order an iPad for its launch week are undoubtedly counting their blessings with the news that delivery of pre-orders has now been pushed back to April 12, likely making consumers who've waited wonder if they might as well just wait for the 3G version to arrive late April instead.

While some news outlets focus on long gone troubles Kogan has had with the ACCC over claims its products offered savings, the real question is whether the as-yet unreleased $199 Kogan-branded tablet is ever going to be a real competitor to the Apple iPad, or just some vapid vapourware?
