A global report on the mobile telecoms industry has found that the industry lost more than $58 billion last year, or over six percent of its revenues, due to inadequate fraud management and revenue assurance processes.
The integration of smartphones into consumer vehicles will become all but standard on new models, according to one leading analyst, which also forecasts that 92 million vehicles will feature technology to integrate the smartphone into the head-unit by 2016.
Customer solutions provider, Amdocs, has launched a new cloud-based mobile payments solution, which it says enables mobile operators to scale their mobile payments business for both pre-paid and post-paid customers to open new revenue streams.
