I was incredibly surprised and saddened to learn that the father of Java, James Gosling, is firmly stuck in the 20th century, oddly believing that the “over-the-air” (OTA) distribution of mobile applications is somehow the wrong idea – and yet he uses an iPhone!

Swedish 'œPirate Bay' under new legal attack

Torrent download site, the Pirate Bay is in the legal firing line once again, this time from lawyers representing Prince and the Village People. However, if the Pirate Bay’s other responses to letters they have received from companies around the world are any indication, their response will likely be little more than a line from the Village People’s hit: you can’t stop the music, nobody can stop the music (or the Pirate Bay!).

RIAA, MPAA: Be Careful what you Wish For

Schemes are being hatched to make it harder and harder to download copyrighted material across the internet.  Seems they will be just as successful as the method to stop people recording CDs to tape in the “old days.”  And just as ludicrous.
