The Victorian Government along with the Australian Road Research Board and La Trobe University have completed the first successful trials of a semi-automated vehicle on Melbourne’s EastLink motorway.

Worldwide production of self-driving cars is forecast to reach 14.5 million in the next 10 years, up significantly from only a few thousands in 2020, according to the latest report from Juniper Research, which also forecasts that more than 22 million of the vehicles will be in use by consumers in 2025.
