Two in five Australians (46%) are interested in connecting their tablets to mobile networks, especially if it can be connected using a mobile data sharing plan, according to a new forecast from technology analyst firm Telsyte.
Chinese telecommunications equipment vendor Huawei Technologies will launch its Wi-Fi 6 access point, AP7060DN, on Monday, with the company dubbing its implementation of the new standard as Air Engine, and the access point as the first commercial Wi-Fi 6 product in the industry.
Multinational networking vendor Cisco has rolled out Wi-Fi 6 compatible infrastructure, betting that it will be taken up ahead of 5G, releasing what it says are next-generation switches, access points and controllers.
