eBay has announced a deal to buy Skype Technologies for approximately $US2.6 billion in up-front cash ($US1.3b) and eBay stock, plus potential performance-based consideration that could increase the total price by another $US1.5 billion, payable in cash or eBay stock, at eBay's discretion.
According to a new Australian study, the 'at home' broadband market is set to reach $1.3 billion in access revenues by the end of 2005, growing by 36% over 2004. Industry revenues are forecast to reach $2.5 billion by 2010.

He holds advisory roles for a number of technology companies, including Cisco Systems Australia and Fuji Xerox. Dominguez also serves as non-executive director of a number of companies including ETrade Australia, Nestle Australia, O'Connell Street Associates, Tat Hong (Singapore) and WESBEAM Holdings.
