The NSW Government is planning to build smart technology into infrastructure and buildings in a move its says will create jobs, cut traffic and commute times, slash water bills, reduce crime and boost the economy and turn New South Wales into the "smart state".
After what seems an eternity, an Australian company, born and bred right here, has landed what always seemed to be impossible: a whole-of-government cloud deal with an Australian Government entity.
IT services provider DXC Technology has opened a Digital Transformation Centre (DTC) in collaboration with the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).
