Security vendor Kaspersky Lab has reacted to reports that Australian retailer Harvey Norman will no longer be selling its products by saying it respects the decision of any business to sell and market products as it sees fit.
A former employee of the NSA claims Kaspersky Lab has provided misleading information while responding to a Bloomberg article that said emails it had obtained showed that the company had developed products for the Russian intelligence service FSB and also accompanied its agents on raids.
The head of anti-malware company Kaspersky Lab says he had no idea why the US is taking aim at his company but thinks it may be due to the current crisis in relations between Moscow and Washington.
