New Zealand company Vector Energy Solutions has announced that it will offer additional energy storage options for residential, industrial and commercial customers, beginning with battery storage products from LG Chem.
The chief of Australian battery and energy storage company Redflow, Simon Hackett, has welcomed the announcement that the South Australian Government has awarded a contract to deploy a 129 megawatt hour (MWh) battery farm to help solve the state’s power problems.
South Australia will get the world’s largest lithium ion battery to store renewable energy, with the state government awarding contracts to US sustainable energy group Tesla and French energy company Neoen to deliver the project.
