Samsung and TCL launched 8K TVs at IFA, but LG says it is "first to mass produce large screen OLED TVs", claiming to lead the market in "advanced premium TV technologies".
IFA 2018 has seen Samsung, LG and TCL showcase 8K TVs, with Samsung promising its Q900R TV delivers "real 8K resolution" so you can "experience realistic and life-like images and sounds".
Although Sharp has been showcasing 8K capable TVs for some time, Samsung, LG and now TCL have taken the opportunity to show off 8K models they all hope you'll upgrade to from as early as 2019.
