Australia’s peak telecommunications industry body, the Communications Alliance, says the new tax arrangements for satellite apparatus licences announced on Tuesday should encourage more efficient use of spectrum and greater investment in the satellite sector.
The top three issues that will create the biggest challenge for Australian small businesses in 2017 are lack of business infrastructure, too much government bureaucracy and taxation rates, according to newly published research from accounting software provider Sage.
