Another leak stops Discovery on launch pad

With only about seven hours before liftoff of NASA’s STS-119 mission to the International Space Station, a hydrogen gas leak was discovered in the same system that has been perplexing shuttle engineers at NASA for weeks.

NASA announced Friday, March 6, 2009, that the space shuttle Discovery is ready to be launched for its mission to the International Space Station. All three of the problematic valves have been replaced and the new ones are "cleared of crack indications."
