Sensis is continuing its push to be a provider of information online: it has signed an agreement with US-based Yelp to launch yelp.com.au, a website where Australians will be able to write reviews and share information on everything from boutiques and mechanics, to restaurants and dentists. Yelp mobile apps will enable access to the service from mobile devices.
Sensis has added a new app to its portfolio of iPhone apps; Sock Assist, designed primarily to enable users to contact a Sensis operator for information and then to retain the information provided. (This article has been updated with details of call charges that apply to Sock Assist, in addition the fee for operator assistance)
