Iran successfully launches Kavoshgar-1 rocket

On February 4, 2008, Iran launched a sub-orbital rocket called Kavoshgar-1 (Explorer-1, in English) from its new secret space launch complex.

The news media is reporting that unnamed officials within the federal government are stating that a disabled U.S. spy satellite is expected to fall to Earth sometime between late February and early March. Could it be satellite USA 193 (NROL-21)?

An advanced spy satellite built by Israel called TecSAR was launched by India on January 21, 2008. One of its purposes is to track Iran’s supposed nuclear weapons program.
