With my 4G smartphone able to offer vastly faster upload and download speeds than all NBN connections in existence today, and while the NBN says it does offer gigabit connections, when NBN Co wants you to ask "how much speed do you need?", it doesn't expect gigabit will be your answer.
Mobile satellite communications company Pivotel has announced the acquisition of Wrights Satellite Connections, a "leading-edge provider of mobile satellite communications solutions in New Zealand with a strong focus on the government, defence and maritime industries".
Many statistics in the NBN Co's results for the full-year 2018, announced on Thursday, show an improvement, but one area where things appear to be either worse or static is the cost of installation per premises.
This is an unbearably good headline :-)
Great Stuff Sam - I wish this could go out to a larger audience.
5G will save us, and the NBN will have to be redone anyway.
As always, a great article Sam.
I will never forgive him.
