The Australian tablet market experienced its fifth straight quarter of decline – down 17.4% year on year (YoY) in Q3, 2016. As the market reaches saturation, the only shining light comes from the stellar rise in Windows 10 hybrids with detachable keyboards.
Telstra is doubling up its range of tablets in selected stores to make more sales, with Telstra typically characterising it as ‘offering customers more choice this gift-giving season’.
One day I will work out how Samsung names things – but for now the next tablet will be called a Galaxy Tab 3 (third generation) and its due out in September.
