An Australian government has finally handed a whole-of-government cloud deal to a local company, with Canberra-based Vault signing a five-year deal with the NSW Government on Tuesday.
ASD-certified Protected cloud provider Vault has switched on high-security equipment in the NSW Government's GovDC in Silverwater, the company says, adding that this would provide fast low-level connectivity directly into Vault Cloud.
ASD-certified Protected cloud provider Vault claims the export of its technology has been affected by perceptions about the encryption law which was passed by the Australian Parliament on 6 December last year.
