SUSE has its head in the cloud

SUSE, the company that creates and markets the oldest commercial GNU/Linux distribution, is making its first major initiative as a private company, releasing an early development version of its cloud infrastructure solution which is powered by the open source OpenStack.

More proof of Oracle's disinterest in open source


More evidence - if any was needed - of Oracle's disinterest in the open source assets it acquired from Sun Microsystems has come to light with the news that the driver for VirtualBox has been declared as "tainted crap" by Linux kernel developers.
