Cyber security solutions for public cloud and as-a-service grew by 46% year-on-year for the first quarter of the current year, the analyst firm Canalys says.
"Organisations are still struggling with the rapid move to the cloud," McAfee MVision Cloud Asia Pacific regional director Joel Camissar told iTWire, but taking a data-centric view to protecting information makes it easier.
Cyber security firm McAfee claims a wide range of organisations accelerate their business through the use of cloud services, following a survey of 1000 businesses worldwide and combining the results with data from anonymised cloud events from its own MVISION cloud that has about 30 million users globally.
