In what should come as no surprise to anyone, some US iPhone buyers in August were waiting for new 6s models to arrive in September.
The quarter up to the end of July in Australia was a particularly good one for Apple smartphones and equally bad for Android in terms of market share, with all the major Android brands losing ground to iPhone 6 which reigns supreme at the top of the table. Meanwhile, the average price of smartphones has experienced a massive increase.
