The Australian Labor Party has, predictably, slammed the Federal Government for avoiding any mention of what it calls "inconvenient metrics" in the NBN Co's first-quarter results which were announced on Monday.

The Australian Labor Party has questioned the value apportioned to the NBN Co by its chairman Ziggy Switkowski, who said during a Senate Estimates hearing that the company could fetch a price of $50 billion if it was sold post-2020.

NBN Co should have appointed interim CEO: Labor

The Australian Labor Party says it was not appropriate for the Federal Government to appoint a permanent chief executive for NBN Co, the company rolling out the national broadband network, this close to an election, especially given that the government is going through a great deal of turbulence.
